The Shred is outfitted with a high-speed Bafang electric mountain bike specific 500W hub motor with a throttle that is extremely powerful (peaks at 750W).
A major feature that separates the Shred from the pack of other eMTBs on the market, is the 27.5" X 2.8" the plus size tires that the bike comes stock with.
With a larger rubber patch contacting the ground, the plus size tires add traction and mute small bumps, giving the rider added confidence, superior performance and a more comfortable ride.

Bought the 604 Shred M/L, 20ah & Commuter bundle package - ordered the suntour suspension seat since they didn't have in stock, waiting for that to show up. They assembled while I waited, took an hour or so - interesting to watch - really glad I didn't just take the box home & do it myself. Bit pricey, but overall it's a great bike, very fun & worth the price. Takes the hills like a champ.
